David Betancourt, Ph.D., is a computer scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur building frontier AI for the world’s most complex markets. He is the Founder & CEO of Reinforce Market Labs, where he builds the control infrastructure that makes business-critical AI agents trustworthy enough to act autonomously, and Founder & Head of AI of DB Macro Research, a private quantitative research and trading firm where he directs AI-driven, systematic strategies. Previously, as an AI Scientist at Apple, he led and pioneered on-device, privacy-preserving AI for recommendation and advertising, and served as Chief Scientist at Vorstella, a cloud observability startup (acquired). He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, with research in machine learning, uncertainty quantification, and AI reliability.
